About Us

Modern Solutions for Better Bonds

We are a modern solution to an old problem — how can I turn my unruly pup into a friendly addition to the household? Using modern dog training techniques as well as "people training" methods, we equip you to not only train your dog while working with us, but also gain the understanding to continue this progress on your own for long-term success.

You deserve a break from the stress of a pet who hasn’t found their place in your home. That’s where we come in. For years, we’ve separated ourselves from the pack by focusing on individual situations and preparing every family member to meet their dog’s needs. We combine proven training methods with practical routines that fit the modern person’s schedule — always aiming to empower you and your pet to create a happy home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers for Every Dog Owner

Is my dog too young to begin training?

No! A good puppy plan for any dog over 8 weeks old is necessary to prevent any issues that may occur as your pup grows and learns on their own. You want your first impression to be a good one!

Is my dog too old to train?

Also no! While being proactive is always good, senior dogs can love learning as much as younger ones and can quite frequently have better attention spans!

How long do I need to work with my dog?

A little of the right thing can go a really long way. Usually 5–15 minutes per day with a good routine is all you need. We find that focusing on doing the right things in training will always beat out long periods of bad technique.

Do I need any specific equipment?

While it depends on your issue, we recommend a collar that won't slip (like a martingale), a regular six-foot leash, and some basic treats. We don't recommend harnesses, gentle leads, or retractable leashes except in specific cases.

Should I rehome my dog?

Unfortunately, we hear this a lot from new students. We rarely find this to be necessary—usually, a few key changes at home can completely transform your household. Also, take note that many shelters are full and “no-kill” facilities may not operate as you might expect.

Once I get my dog trained will they listen to me or just the trainer?

You. Solving this common issue is our main priority as K9 Coaches. We treat our clients as though we are teaching them to be dog trainers themselves. We focus on guiding you on how to train your own dog in your own home for lasting results.
